Description

The Explorer Frost range, for men, includes wetsuits for the cold conditions, which prioritize warmth and durability. They are developed with a unique combination of eco-materials assembled with Mineralprene, made from recycled oyster shells and limestone. The new fast dry is combined with a soft terry cloth high pile eco lining. The seams are glued and blind stitched, sealed on the outside. The wetsuit durability is granted by the foam memory recovery technology which maintains its integrity.
When choosing your wetsuit size, make sure to choose the correct fit. The wetsuit should be really fit and tight to begin with. It will perfectly adapt to your body within 2-3 surf sessions.

Materials and technology

La gamme Explorer Frost pour homme comprend des combinaisons conçues avec une combinaison unique de matériaux respectueux de l'environnement, offrant un confort maximal lors des journées les plus froides, unis par le Mineralprene, un néoprène qui associe des coquilles d'huîtres recyclées et du calcaire. Le nouveau Deeply Fastdry présente un design renouvelé ainsi que des propriétés de séchage rapide et de chaleur améliorées. Les panneaux sont collés et cousus ; les coutures sont scellées à l'extérieur avec du caoutchouc liquide ultra-étanche. La durabilité de la combinaison a été encore améliorée grâce à l'introduction de la technologie « memory foam recovery », qui maintient son intégrité.
Lors du choix de la taille de votre combinaison, assurez-vous de sélectionner l'ajustement correct. Le vêtement en néoprène doit être bien ajusté au départ. Il s'adaptera parfaitement à votre corps en 2 à 3 sessions de surf.

Care

Il doit toujours être lavé à l'eau froide sans savon (ne me jette pas dans la machine à laver ni dans le sèche-linge)

La combinaison doit être retirée calmement, en utilisant toujours un tapis Deeply ou un seau. Attention aux ongles, qui peuvent déchirer le néoprène. N'étire pas trop le néoprène, car cela fait éclater les fils et les coutures. Il est important, en été ou par temps chaud, de sortir la combinaison isothermique de la voiture en arrivant à destination. La combinaison doit être rangée suspendue, sans être pliée. Ne retire pas la wax de surf, car le néoprène est endommagé lorsqu'on essaie de l'enlever.

Comprei este fato em Janeiro e, após quatro meses de utilização, este é o meu feedback. Muitas das costuras já vinham mal finalizadas quando retirei o fato novo da caixa, com fios soltos que nem sequer tinham sido cortados. Acabei por ter de dar nós em vários pontos para evitar que começassem a descoser. Numa das joelheiras, parte da costura acabou mesmo por abrir ao fim de quatro meses, porque não vinha bem cozida nem devidamente acabada. Já tive fatos da Deeply com uma qualidade e um acabamento superiores a este.

How do I know what size to choose?
Please consult the size guide available on the product page and compare your measurements with the corresponding chart.

A wetsuit should fit snugly against the body, without large folds or air pockets, but it should allow you to breathe and move normally. It may feel tighter at first and will adapt slightly after the first few sessions.

If you are between two sizes or need help, please contact our Customer Service team, providing your height, weight, and main measurements.
Is the product suitable for cold water?
It depends on the thickness and the model. As a general reference, 3/2 mm suits are suitable for temperate water, while 4/3 mm or 5/4 mm models offer greater insulation for colder water.

How warm you feel also depends on the water temperature, wind, session length and your sensitivity to cold. Always check the features and temperature recommendation shown on the product page.
Does the suit restrict movement?
It should not restrict your movements if you have chosen the correct size. The suit should be snug to reduce water entry, but allow natural mobility of the shoulders, arms and legs.

If large creases appear, too much water enters, or you feel excessive pressure that makes breathing or movement difficult, double-check the size and fit of the model.
How should I care for the product after use?
Always rinse it thoroughly with cold water after each use to remove salt, sand and other residues. Do not use a washing machine, tumble dryer, bleach or aggressive products.

Dry it in the shade, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. To prevent deformation, hang it on a suitable hanger or fold it at the waist while it dries. Store it completely dry, without compressing it and in a cool place.

When putting it on or taking it off, avoid pulling forcefully and be careful with fingernails and sharp surfaces, as these can damage the neoprene.
Are the seams reinforced?
Seam construction depends on the model. On each product page, you will find the type of seam and the technologies used.

Models designed for more demanding conditions may feature glued, stitched or sealed seams to improve strength and flexibility and reduce water entry. Please check the product specifications to confirm the exact construction of the model you have chosen.
