Materials and technology

Our new men's 5/4 Explorer Frost, with an improved design and materials, was created to provide maximum comfort and warmth on the coldest days, brought together by Mineralprene, the neoprene that combines recycled oyster shells with limestone. It is lined with panels of our Deeply Fastdry, providing water repellency while ensuring maximum heat retention throughout the body. The panels are glued and stitched; the seams are sealed on the outside with ultra-watertight liquid rubber. The comfort and high thermal capacity of the new 5/4 Explorer Frost are guaranteed by the introduction of our new extra-warm W-FLEX lining.

When choosing your wetsuit size, make sure you choose the correct fit. The wetsuit should feel really snug to begin with. It will adapt perfectly to your body within 2-3 surf sessions.

Shipping: free on orders over €150 to most of Europe, including France, and over €200 to Finland, Sweden, Cyprus and Malta.
Delivery: between 3 and 7 working days.
Returns and exchanges: within 30 days.

Care

Always rinse it in cold water without soap (don't put it in the washing machine or the dryer).

Take the wetsuit off calmly, always using a Deeply change mat or a bucket. Be careful with your nails, as they can tear the neoprene. Don't overstretch the neoprene, as this can break the stitching and seams. In summer or hot weather, take the wetsuit out of the car as soon as you arrive. Store it hanging, without folding it. Don't remove surf wax, as trying to do so damages the neoprene.

Conforto e mobilidade

Adorei o conforto e a qualidade do fato. Usei durante os dias “normais de inverno”, nos meses de dezembro e janeiro, por exemplo, com a temperatura da água na média dos 15º. Achei que dentro de água é realmente quente, mesmo quando se está muito tempo parado na água à espera de ondas. Também não é excessivamente quente, mesmo em dias de sol e céu limpo, e também com muita remada, porque ao remar o corpo aquece e o fato podia ficar demasiado quente. Porém, achei que tem um bom equilíbrio de temperatura. Quanto ao gorro, utilizei-o apenas em dias de muito vento e muito frio (diria que em 30 utilizações, usei o gorro 4 vezes). Este fato sem gorro seria perfeito. Por último, e igualmente importante, em termos de mobilidade achei muito bom, porque não senti que me prendesse os movimentos nos braços nem no resto do corpo. Resumindo, é um fato que se deve ter no inverno para estar confortável, quente e com mobilidade para manobras.

This is my first 5/4 wetsuit and I'm impressed. It really holds me warm and doesn't led any water in. I ordered MT and it suits perfectly (male 185cm, 70kg). Frequently asked questions

How do I know what size to choose?
Please consult the size guide available on the product page and compare your measurements with the corresponding chart.

A wetsuit should fit snugly against the body, without large folds or air pockets, but it should allow you to breathe and move normally. It may feel tighter at first and will adapt slightly after the first few sessions.

If you are between two sizes or need help, please contact our Customer Service team, providing your height, weight, and main measurements.
Is the product suitable for cold water?
It depends on the thickness and the model. As a general reference, 3/2 mm suits are suitable for temperate water, while 4/3 mm or 5/4 mm models offer greater insulation for colder water.

How warm you feel also depends on the water temperature, wind, session length and your sensitivity to cold. Always check the features and temperature recommendation shown on the product page.
Does the suit restrict movement?
It should not restrict your movements if you have chosen the correct size. The suit should be snug to reduce water entry, but allow natural mobility of the shoulders, arms and legs.

If large creases appear, too much water enters, or you feel excessive pressure that makes breathing or movement difficult, double-check the size and fit of the model.
How should I care for the product after use?
Always rinse it thoroughly with cold water after each use to remove salt, sand and other residues. Do not use a washing machine, tumble dryer, bleach or aggressive products.

Dry it in the shade, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. To prevent deformation, hang it on a suitable hanger or fold it at the waist while it dries. Store it completely dry, without compressing it and in a cool place.

When putting it on or taking it off, avoid pulling forcefully and be careful with fingernails and sharp surfaces, as these can damage the neoprene.
Are the seams reinforced?
Seam construction depends on the model. On each product page, you will find the type of seam and the technologies used.

Models designed for more demanding conditions may feature glued, stitched or sealed seams to improve strength and flexibility and reduce water entry. Please check the product specifications to confirm the exact construction of the model you have chosen.
